Professional sound system equipment manufacturer Atlas Sound today has announced the release of the new distributed audio mixer amplifiers AAPHD series, this is the new development based on years experienced to deliver a multifunction mixer amplifier that incorporating ground breaking features and design ,built to save audio integrators time and money.
Atlas Sound AAPHD mix amps consist of five models ranging from 30 watts to 400 watts output capability ,that are designed to work in 70.7-volt high impedance load system, all models incorporating a patent-pending automatic system testing at the front panel called “Push Here Diagnostic” button.
This internal circuit topology is designed to be able to check any loudspeaker connected in the line for diagnosis any problems with wiring and impedance errors. The test mode can be activated once all the loudspeakers are connected each others and the circuit automatically verifies every of attached speakers’ tap settings are set properly and do not exceed the amplifier’s power capability next is to ensure that no speakers are set to 8 ohms tap, and also to prevent the loudspeaker wire from any shorts. This is a quick solver for any troubleshooting on the installation site and after the sale.
Additionally, all models include a Remote Input Selection function (except AA30PHD) that allows the user to select any source input and control the volume level of assigned channel from an optional WPD-RISRL wall remote module, that can be placed up to 60 meter away from the amplifier. Each unit also have a very low noise floor, which very good to enhancing sound quality.
“Mixer amplifiers are the most common amplifiers used by 70.7-volt distributed audio system today,” states John Ivey as senior vice president of sales division from Atlas Sound. “This new series mix amps gives you something that you only could find in others pricier models, which is our speaker line automatic test function. Not only because this is a huge benefit to the installer onsite, who now has a quick accsess to test the system before they go to another system, but it also reduce errors. If theres any problems occurs after installation, the owner can activate the PHD test mode and check the system by himself,if no fault is detected ,then tha problem is in another part of the system. This simply and effectively eliminates troubleshooting handling time and effort. This is a feature that every integrator absolutely going to love.”
Models Consist Of :
- AA400PHD : 6-Inputs 400 Watts
- AA200PHD : 6-Inputs 200 Watts
- AA100PHD : 4-Inputs 100 Watts
- AA50PHD : 4-Inputs 50 Watts
